The instrumental symbolism at the final minute is mind blowing!!! You hear a fluctuating sound stage (going mostly left which resembles your addiction(s) and progressing slowly farther right (which may symbolize you finally about to overcome the addiction) then suddenly a second harassing sound stage emerges straight out of the left and chases the right instrument down like a demon looking to redevour its original host, and once it succeeds, the song suddenly ends with the words “I LIKE IT!” And it sounds as though both sound staging instruments break apart in a gooey fashion just before the song stops, possibly signifying the final breaking victory from said addiction(s). Just my interpretation as a trained music nerd and audiophile.

This record rips. I remember reading the interview about this record and seeing him behind those red and white striped Tama’s in Modern Drummer 2006. That always sticks out in my mind.

This is my favorite Beard concert and group. Their on fire. I listen to this concert every week at least once.

I still love this album. Saw Taylor and Co. Live at the bowery ballroom to support this album. Waited all day long, was the first in line, was rocking out inches from taylors drums. Stole the poster off the window/wall of the venue and had Taylor and the boys sign it. Greatest day of my life. 4/20 too

Spock’s Beard is a great band but is very unmanaged. There is not Official Instagram, Facebook and site are outdated and since 2021, it haven’t news about the band. This great band don’t deserves this bad threatment.

More vigorous drumming but now its a more mature player.

I've always been a great fan of 'less is more' so I preferred guys like Jeff Porcaro, Bernard Purdie, Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan etc... But sometimes you just want a little more and in that case I really prefer to listen to really 'musical drummers' .. guys that have the chops and really add something to the music.. in that case you really can't go wrong with Marco Minneman and Benny Greb.. Yes Marco might have some alien-like chops but come one.. you have to admit it's friggin' awesome!! :) I totally love this dude... (no homo!) :P
